Partners
David founded Ascendra Capital and leads its investment strategy, underwriting and capital allocation, with a focus on office opportunities where disciplined structuring and active ownership create value.
He was previously COO and a partner at a large New Jersey industrial real estate developer, where he oversaw more than 18 million square feet of development. Earlier, he was a Director at a global restructuring firm and led the workout and restructuring portfolio at a multibillion-dollar hedge fund.
He has served on public company boards and on creditor committees in major bankruptcy cases. David graduated cum laude from the New York Institute of Technology.
Steven is a founding partner and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Hill Valley Healthcare, where he leads financial strategy and the origination, underwriting, financing and closing of acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures.
He previously built the skilled nursing platform of MDG Real Estate Global, a TASE-listed company, where he ran acquisitions and financing, and served as a director of its operating affiliate, Majestic Care.
Shimmy is a founding partner and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Hill Valley Healthcare, with more than 20 years of operating and executive leadership.
He specializes in turning distressed facilities into stable, profitable and compliant operations. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Continuum Healthcare, a skilled nursing operator in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
